Midjourney has unveiled a slew of upgrades and new features coming to their website.
New Selection Feature🎁
This week, A new batch selection feature on the website.
Simply go to “My Images” and select images that you like with shift+click or click+drag and then press “Download/Publish/Unpublish” according to your need.
Phrase Two — Image Generation🌟
An alpha version of the website has been released with on-site image generation.
For now, entry is limited to top creators with over 10,000 images generated. But after testing wraps up, the improvements become available to all.
The feature will be made available to new users once the community and social aspects of the website have been enhanced.

The next upcoming feature for the website will be a collection and art downloader on the website. This makes organizing and exporting our AI creations much easier.

Midjourney’s next big update — version 6 — is starting to peek out!
The internal rating party has been completed and they are now moving on to testing the tuning back in from the rating party.
Rating Party🌟
The first external rating party is expected to take place on Friday or Saturday this week. There will be a second rating party after the first one.
Enhancement 🚀
So what does v6 have in store? According to previous updates, expect enhancements like
- Improved Image Prompting
- Upgraded Resolution: A 2x2 grid and 1024 resolution
- Better Upscaler
- Enhanced Coherence & Aesthetics
- Improved Language Understanding
- More Realistic Appearance, including improved textures and lighting

Different Prompting — Natural Language
MidJourney V6’s image-prompting is more sensitive and responsive to specific language.
- Users must be cautious and use cleaner, more specific prompts.
- The prompting system will be different, avoid vague or trendy words like “4K,” “8K,” “HD” or references to art station trends.
- It encourages users to focus more on using Natural Language over vibe-based descriptions

The release of version 6 will occur after the second rating party, assuming everything looks good.
Other Features
Not all current features will be available upon launch, such as inpainting, but there are plans to add to its capabilities in subsequent updates.
A New Tuner 💫
The upcoming version of Style Tuner will differ significantly from the current one. A New Tuner optimized specifically for V6 will also be created, as the V5 Style Tuner won’t be compatible.
- It will offer more immediate feedback and exhibit greater consistency in styles.
- Initially, it may have fewer than 128 style directions but will expand gradually over time.
