Features of Niji V5 — Scenic Style:
Unlike the principle artistic basics, this style is based on what people liked the most from the previous three styles:
- The Facial styling of Default— Similar to Default, Scenic uses a contemporary anime facial design.
- The 3D lighting model of Expressive — Like Expressive, Scenic has a highly advanced system that creates incredibly realistic lighting and shadows. This creates stunningly beautiful backdrops.
- The graphic styling of Cute — Crafting a scene for your characters can be quite a challenge. To make sure it looks right, Scenic has incorporated some powerful graphical elements from Cute to achieve the perfect balance between compositions.

If you have missed the three styles, be sure to check them out!

A pretty place for a pretty face
In contrast to previous styles, the scenic style will focus more on the broader context and give a wider view of the subject’s environment. It will go beyond individual actions and grant a deeper insight.

A strong silhouette
The Scenic team devoted a great amount of effort and resources to ensure that the style not only managed the breathtaking environments well but also successfully added characters to them.
Finding the perfect balance between depicting a character and their environment can often be difficult. It is, however, a crucial factor to consider when creating traditional artwork. In order to tackle this challenge, developing a strong silhouette for the characters is essential.

Here is a demonstration of the 4 different styles of Niji Journey V5 with the same prompt:
Prompt: A shojo anime kitsune girl with a white dragon, in front of a red temple, wonder cultural themes, fantasy — ar 3:2 — niji 5
Starting from upper left to bottom right: Default, Expressive Cute and Scenic.

The scenic style stands out from previous styles, as it is designed to provide a more encompassing and contextual view of the subject. By focusing on the environment, viewers can gain insight into the bigger picture.
Adding artist names for cinematic scenes
Finally, if you are after a visual backdrop for your project, consider tapping into the artistic expertise of famous artists
Makoto Shinkai ( Famous Animation: Your name, Suzume)
His visual aesthetic has an unreal quality to it with items that appear unusually glossy and hues that look highly saturated.
He additionally makes the most of dynamic contrasts by having a stark contrast between parts of his scenes that are in shadow and those illuminated by light.

Hayao Miyazaki
The famous Japanese animator who co-founded Studio Ghibli ( Famous Animation: Spirited Away, Howl’s Moving Castle)
Hayao Miyazaki has an iconic style of animation that is progressive and distinctive. His visuals are marked by soft and picturesque backgrounds along with emotionally charged characters, which usually examine subjects such as environmentalism, feminism, and pacifism.

Modifying the Impact of Aesthetics — Style
Just like previous styles, you can adjust the effects of style with the parameters “ — s” or simply selecting the effects of the style in “/settings”.
