Introduction

GitHub is an open-source and web-based version control system. to put it simply GitHub is a Source code management tool and it hosts your projects on the internet.

Every developer is like to use GitHub to work together from different cities. It's very simple to use and store your all project source code on GitHub.

Overall the world's 94 million developers are using GitHub just imagine the popularity of it.

it’s very easy to use for uploading your projects. just sign up using your Gmail account and create the repository on GitHub to upload your work. Here developers collaborate to work with each other. this is a very good opportunity for those who contribute to the online hackathon that time it helps a lot of participants.

Creating a repository is a very process. you create within a minute you do it.

Why Programmers use GitHub.

it helps to work together with collaborating two or more developers. and it tracks, stores, and shares the project source codes and other files.

it also provides another service. that is GitHub pages. you can host your projects online it’s absolutely free of cost.

Once you create the repository make it public. because other developers take it as a reference interested in that.

Git vs GitHub.

Git is also a distributed version control system for tracking your changes in code.

Git is software. if you want to change the piece of code in you download Git. it helps to make simple changes in your programs. Linux is released Git in 2005.

Git is CLI (Command-line interface ) so you interact with only from commands.

Conclusion.

I hope this post helps you with a brief introduction to Git and GitHub.

Other Version Control Systems are there, but it is friendly for beginners so I shared only this.
