Want to be more creative? Get a cat!

There’s no denying that cats are one of the most popular pets in the world. But did you know that they can also help boost your creativity?
A survey of 1,000 dog owners and 1,000 cat owners by Mars Petcare found that cat people fancy themselves more creative than dog people overall.
Dog owners are twice as likely to work in the financial field, and cat owners being nearly four times as likely to work in creative fields.
So why does having a cat make you more creative?
One theory is that cats provide a sense of security and comfort that allows people to feel more free to be creative. Another possibility is that playing with or simply watching a cat can help inspire new ideas.
The researchers believe it has to do with the fact that cats provide their owners with a sense of independence and autonomy. This allows people to feel more comfortable taking risks and exploring new ideas.
So if you’re looking to boost your creativity, it might be time to adopt a feline friend. Just don’t forget to keep them entertained with plenty of toys and scratch posts!
