UX Research Bingo!
Adding Fun to Insightful Sessions
Introduction
User Experience Research (UXR) can be an intense and detail-oriented process, but who says it can’t be fun? Introducing “UX Research Bingo” — a lighthearted way to make your research sessions more engaging while staying productive. This is not only a game but adds an extra layer of enjoyment and also helps the team be attentive and recognize common patterns in user feedback. Here’s how you can play and what each square represents.
How to Play
This works just like a regular Bingo. Print out or digitally share the bingo cards with your team before starting a research session. As you go through interviews, usability tests, or any other research activity, mark off the squares when you encounter the listed scenarios.
After the session is completed, don’t forget to shout out ‘Bingo’ and pat yourself on the back.

Conclusion
UX Research Bingo transforms research sessions into engaging activities while maintaining productivity. It helps the team stay focused, identify common patterns, and enjoy the process. Next time you conduct a research session, bring out the bingo cards and involve everyone who participated or shadowed, including product managers, designers, and other stakeholders.
And don't forget to have FUN!
