The latest Midjourney update shows that the project keeps coming up with exciting new feature implementations. This not only continuously expands our toolbox for AI images, but also sometimes makes it a bit difficult to keep track of all the functions and parameters you could actually use.

That’s why I created the “Midjourney Cheat Sheet”, a handy overview you can print out and put next to your workspace.

It covers all the basic settings and prompt parameters, and even points out some advanced concepts. If you think something is missing, please let me know in the comments. 🙏

Basic Prompt Anatomy: 
/imagine prompt: [PREFIX] [SCENE] [SUFFIX] [Parameters]
PREFIX defines image medium & style
SCENE defines content
SUFFIX modulates Prefix & Scene
(in actual practice these categories overlap)
Permutation Prompt Example:
