The Experience of Designing the UX Design is going to be revolutionized
Today, we are not going to talk about the product design but the experience of designing the product. Well, it is absolutely essential since it has been more than a decade, that we rarely talk about things like “Burnout among the UX designers”.
Finally, the time has come to leverage GenAI to explore AI-generated minimal viable product (MVP) just by giving nicely defined prompt commands. The pain of the iterating design solutions sprint after sprint will soon be taken care of by GenAI.
There will be a paradigm shift in the way that user experience design is done today. The UX design software such as Figma will no longer work the same way it used to. The UX designers will be experiencing incredible design experience compared to the current design experience where they spend many hours designing wireframes and prototypes instead of focusing on user experience research.
Today, UX designers spend half of their day meeting with product owners/ developers to understand the requirements and review the design solutions. and the rest of the day juggling with never-ending design iterations as the problem definition keeps changing during the product development.
But all these frustrating experiences are going to end with the integration of GenAI into the Figma design tool and by just providing the well-defined prompt could save hours of struggle and provide opportunities to invest in user experience research
For those who don’t know about GenAI, here is the definition:
Definition: According to Gartner, Generative AI, also known as GAI or GenAI, is a type of artificial intelligence that is capable of generating text, images, or other data by natural language prompts, meaning it doesn’t require knowledge of or entering code2.
Let’s contextualize it with the help of an example. Look at the below images which I have created by just inputting the natural prompt and the results are surprisingly astonishing. It comes up with quick low fidelity design solutions that can be even level if the design system in…
