My life 1 Year After The Google UX Design Certificate — How I got a job

First I want to highlight that time will pass, it doesn't matter if you decide to start something today or not, a year will be gone anyways. And here is what happened to me last year.
I wish I were one of those people who start earning 5 times more after finishing a UX Design certificate, but the reality can be different.
Let's remind that this is my personal experience, anyone can have something different, and things can happen faster or slower, but they will happen if you don’t give up.
Back in 2021, I made a decision, I decided to become a UX Designer, I didn’t have colleagues in the field, also I didn’t know people that could get me a job. I was starting everything on my own, from the very beginning.
As for many beginners, my first certification was the Google UX Design certificate, available on the Coursera platform.
Most asked questions about the certificate
How long did it take for you to finish the course? It took me about 3 months to finish the certificate, but I was doing it full-time. The course has a lot of content. It is a 200h course + readings. It normally takes 6 months.

What happened after finishing the certificate
When I finish the certification, the first thing that I did was to start asking for feedback on my projects.
Asking for feedback can be like a cold shower on your excitement, you will realize that there is still a lot to improve, but it is necessary and can be pleasant.
People from the field will see things on your projects that you don’t, so, make sure to ask the right people, and make sure to have different opinions about your projects, some…
