Exciting Updates from Midjourney Office Hours! Following the highly awaited release of MidJourney’s V5.2, the team is thrilled to reveal the upcoming V5.3, packed with even more exciting features!

MidJourney V5.3
According to Midjourney’s latest announcement during office hours, we can expect to see V5.3 coming soon and here are the new features:
Expected Updates
- Panning — This is similar to zoom-out but with the added capability to pan in different directions. This increases the control over the composition.
- Inpainting — This allows users to remove unwanted objects or fill in missing parts of an image
- Weird — A new feature that encourages imaginative and unconventional ideas. I am excited to witness the boundless creativity this feature will inspire!
More Updates
Midjourney V.6 — potentially in July
Though we don’t have an exact date when MidJourney V6 will be released, it is now back in training and we can expect to see the upcoming changes:
- Higher Resolution
- More Accurate and Detailed
- Increase Degree of Control
- More Diversity in Image Type
A Standalone Website and Mobile App
Upcoming website and mobile platforms are progressing well, offering a polished experience with fewer features than desired.
They boast
- efficient downloaders
- synchronization tools
- fast search function
It is going to resemble Discord in some aspects with an exceptionally clean design. Overall, it promises to be an exceptional design AI tool.
Midjourney V5.2 Enhancements
Meanwhile, the team has made some improvements for v5.2:
- New args for
--fastand--relax— easily set specific jobs to fast or relax mode - New Imagine All button

1. New Imagine All button
This new” Imagine All” button allows you instantly displays all four job descriptions for /describe command. Make sure fast mode is turned on.
If you are unfamiliar with the describe command, it generates four text prompts based on an uploaded image. Learn more here.
2. Video Parameter
The --video parameter can be utilized to generate a brief film showcasing the creation of your initial image grid. This is an interesting feature but I haven’t fully explored its potential applications yet.
You need to react to the completed task by using the envelope ✉️ emoji. The Midjourney Bot will then send you a Direct Message with a link to the video.

They also hinted at undisclosed ventures involving more sophisticated tools and potentially text rendering in the coming future! Let’s eagerly await further developments!
