As someone who’s deeply involved in behavioural design and writing, I’ve always been fascinated by the potential of technology to enhance our capabilities. Today, I want to share with you how ChatGPT, combined with a nifty trick, can turbocharge the process in creating your resume.
Step 1:
Start by enabling the Webpilot plugin from the plugin store. This acts as your personal assistant, streamlining the process.
Step 2:
This step is where the magic happens. Here’s how to structure your prompt for ChatGPT:
Personal Information:
Input your name, job titles, portfolio URL, email, Dribbble profile, and phone number.
Professional Summary:
Request ChatGPT to craft a human-like professional summary in under 300 characters, tailored to a job description you provide.
Experience:
Direct ChatGPT to detail your experience, optimized for the role you’re targeting. Include company names, roles, and dates, focusing on achievements and incorporating key job description keywords.
Education:
List your degrees, institutions, and date ranges.
Skills and Tools:
Have ChatGPT generate a list of skills and tools relevant to the job description, ensuring they are presented in a comma-separated format.
