How to learn anything

I am not a student of anything, but I am a lifelong learner. I might not be great at academics, but I know how to learn and retain information by applying the newly discovered skills.

Learning is an essential quality of humans as we continue to evolve and we are expected/required to develop new skills to be successful at what we do. It’s essential to get good at knowing how to learn anything.

My mentor always tells me to read about the topics, so I ask the right questions. There are 100s of resources available online for anyone to learn anything for free. It’s totally up to you what and how often you seek help with you get stuck.

Ask for help as often as possible.

Here’s my learning process:

1. Getting interested in DeFi or NFTs
2. Simple “Google search” will bring you many credible materials to learn from the best experts in the field.
3. Consume & try to understand the basics or foundational knowledge
4. By now, you will have enough questions to dig deeper; time to find additional resources.
5. Meetups/Online Webinars/Forums/Advance courses or just a simple email to who you think is an expert via LinkedIn and ask for help. People are more accessible when you ask for help to learn what they are good at.
6. Being consistent with taking notes or documenting or learning by striving is the best practice to expedite your progress.
7. Repeat and find the next thing to learn
