Welcome aboard to my “Wonder Art Land”

If you are new to Midjourney, follow this beginner’s guide to start:

Let’s dive right in!

Blend

The /blend command is a fantastic solution for quickly creating unique images from any number of sources.

The blend command combines the concepts and aesthetics of each image uploaded to create an incredible new image! This feature can drastically reduce the time spent on manually designing images.

/blend works with up to 5 images. To use more than 5 images in a prompt use imagine prompts with /imagine

/blend does not work with text prompts. To use text and image prompts together, use imagine prompts and text with /imagine

Command:/blend

After you type in the command, it will allow you to upload two images.

Look at the result with the command. A combination of an owl and a glass ball and also a fancy night.

To add more visual elements, you can choose the optional/options field and select image3, image4, or image5. That way you can easily enhance your content with engaging visuals.

Let’s see what we got with adding the third image.

Blending Tip: To get the best results possible, ensure you upload images with the same aspect ratio.

Aspect and suffixes

Blended images typically use a 1:1 aspect ratio, but you can switch to a square (1:1), portrait (2:3) or landscape aspect ratio (3:2) with the help of the optional dimensions field.

You can also add custom suffixes like any other /imagine prompt.

Check out my other post if you are looking for tailoring your artwork.

You can also try

Blending two people together

I tested that with the famous Mona Lisa painting. There is another command in doing similar things that I will discuss in my coming post.

Creating a new breed

Let’s see what poodle and corgi can come up with. A Poogi?

And how about a Pandle? How cute is that!

Try also the following and have fun!

  • Turn your photograph into an artwork
  • Crafting a character
  • Mixing a new creature
  • Placing people into different scenes

As you gain more and more experience using Midjourney, you’ll yearn for even more control over the images you create! By leveraging Midjourney’s features, you can produce truly amazing visuals.
