How logos of famous brands might look like in the Year of the Tiger

Hey, it’s Logomachine. New Year is coming… Well, we aren’t late! As the Chinese calendar says, the Water Tiger comes not until the 1st of February. On this occasion our team stylized mascots and corporate identity of famous brands — welcome!

Concept

The upcoming Year of the Tiger brings confidence and boldness. High time to make friends with it, which our designers exactly did: they gathered together and created variants of corporate identities in the style of the Chinese New Year’s symbol.

Realization

Each designer took one of the projects — Pringles, Monopoly, M&M’s, Prostokvashino (Russian dairy brand), Angry Birds, Dodo Pizza, Starbucks, Red Bull, Animal Planet, WWF, Gillette — and created a variant of a “striped” logo or mascot.

The company doesn’t have a mascot so we decided to “tiger things up” using metaphors and associations connected with this animal: letters in the logo are transformed into tiger’s claw marks.
