How a PDF version of my UX writing portfolio landed me my current job — with Google Slides

This part of the series will touch more upon how I structured my portfolio because the look and feel of it are totally up to you. (You can choose from all the open-source fonts at Google Slides and also pick the matching colours to make your cases stand out.

This is not a tutorial for Google Slides, it is a glance into how I turned months of work and lots of iterations into landing my current Senior UX writer position at Sapera, Berlin.

Structuring your UX writing portfolio

  1. A cover page featuring your image, details and title
  2. The table of contents listing your case studies, the industry, the format delivered and maybe also which industry of the client
  3. The stars of the show: 3–5 exceptional case studies which complement each other, they should be featuring
  • brief and problem statement
