I prompted AI Art for 10 Disney films using only emojis
Are you a Disney fan looking for a challenge? Or maybe you’re interested in AI and accessibility? Either way, you won’t want to miss this! I’ve used emojis (and nothing else!) to prompt AI art for 10 beloved Disney films.
Emojis are a near-universal language that can be understood by almost anyone. You don’t need to be able to read or have language skills to be able to communicate with emojis. This makes them not only fun but also socially progressive — allowing more people to access and create AI art.
But can simple emojis really convey enough information for AI to understand and create recognizable art? That’s the question I set out to answer.
First, I asked Jasper Chat to give me titles for 7 Disney movies using only a few emojis (2–7 emojis). Then I fed the emoji-only titles into MidJourney. And now it’s your turn to guess the films from the resulting artwork!
Keep in mind, I kept the prompts rough and unrefined to see just how much information emojis alone could convey to an AI art generator.
