Disney princesses reimagined by A.I. with more diversity and representation
Using AI to create inclusive images of classic Disney characters

Last month, trolls got upset over Disney’s The Little Mermaid’s inclusive casting. Some deep-sea trolls even went to the length of editing Hailey Bailey out of the trailer using AI (I won’t even link to it). I wanted to instead show how Artificial Intelligence can be used to help imagine and represent classic Disney fairytale characters, as diversely and inclusively as possible.
AI can be a force for good in the future. In that spirit, I’d like to show you a whole new world of animation, a world in which everyone gets to be a part.
Note, I’ve deactivated the paywall on this article. I tend to do that on issues I think are socially important, so everyone can access it. I don’t make any fees from this, which I think is important. I do ask that if you are sharing these images, please credit them (and link if available) thank you. Enjoy!
Diversity and Representation Matter. So feel free to share this article.
(Also, if you or your kids don’t see yourself represented in these fairytales, drop me a comment and I will do my best to make a custom image, gratis)
Beauty and the Beast

Frozen

Cinderella

Alice in Wonderland

Non-Binary Sleeping Beauty and Rapunzel

And to conclude, more The Little Mermaid

All images were made using Jasper AI, with occasional editing on Dalle-2.
You can start to generate AI art right away — no waitlist!
