What is aha moment?

Aha moment is the moment when users realize the value of the product or feature. It’s important as it’s the point that helps decide if this user would return in the future or not, for teams to take action towards the aligned goal along users’ onboarding process

Popular aha moments for product are when users connect with 10 friends within 7 days from signing up for Facebook, for Slack it’s 2000 messages sent in a team. Note that these are not “THE MOMENTS”, but more of conditions to reach that moment. The real moment for Facebook is when users see their feed full of relevant content, updates from their friends, or for Slack it’s when teams have a lot of important conversations going on and a lot of files share so that they are more willing to stay. And for these moments to happen, 10 friends within 7 days for Facebook are the optimal threshold, for Slack it’s 2000 messages
