5 Ways to drive efficiencies in UX Research
Tips on making your research used and integrated into your team
As defined in the Cambridge dictionary, something that is efficient is ‘working in a way that does not waste a resource’. [1]
When done correctly, UX research is one of the most valuable resources to a business. However, it is very easy for the information to get lost, ignored or forgotten. Below are ways in which I have directly tried to improve efficiencies, or which I have learnt/discovered from experience or different sources including

1. Evidence board’s
This is something that I explore in much more detail in my article here, but the premise and benefits of an evidence board are very simple. It’s a way of consolidating and centralising all the key bits of research you and others have done into one visual location. Like a detectives evidence board, you put all the important bits of research information/insights/learns onto the board for all to see, then group them based on a user journey and common themes.
For example on your detectives board you might have all the research related to the checkout in one section, and all the research related to customer service in another section
