12 best Google fonts for your next project
Collection of open-source sans serif fonts from Google font.

Choosing the “right” font for your design determines how well your designs are perceived. It’s better for a typeface to be clear and legible, rather than so unreadable that it’s distracting from the overall communication goals of the design.
These are the 12 best free web fonts available on Google Fonts, in my humble opinion. They are all open-source and 100% free for commercial use. This collection focuses on typeface that contain multiple weights and styles
1.Ubuntu
The Ubuntu Font Family are a set of matching new libre/open fonts in development during 2010–2011. The development is being funded by Canonical Ltd on behalf the wider Free Software community and the Ubuntu project. The technical font design work and implementation is being undertaken by Dalton Maag.

2.Barlow
Barlow is a slightly rounded, low-contrast, grotesk type family. Drawing from the visual style of the California public, Barlow shares qualities with the state’s car plates, highway signs, busses, and trains.

3.Open Sans
Open Sans was designed with an upright stress, open forms and a neutral, yet friendly appearance. It was optimized for print, web, and mobile interfaces, and has excellent legibility characteristics in its letterforms.
